Trachybasalt refers to a type of basalt that transitions from basalt to rough rock. The coarse-faced basalt is one of the six sub-classes of basalt. The other five sub-categories are the basalt, the high-alloy basalt, the alkaline basalt, the medium-length basalt and the white garnet.

The coarse-faced basalt has a porphyritic structure or a rough-faced structure, often associated with coarse shale and shale.

The coarse-faced basalt is mainly composed of feldspar and pyroxene. Among them, feldspar is basic plagioclase and alkaline feldspar, and the latter content is >10%. The dark minerals are titanium-containing ordinary pyroxene, titanium-containing pyroxene and a small amount of brown hornblende and biotite.
